How are people feeling about this? If President Santos can do this for himself and turn around the government (he obviously won a second chance from his predecessor!) It will look different next April! He deserves our gratitude! The public mood seems divided by both those who admire and oppose him. But in any civil war between a leader (as a right party member is doing) and a government of government-backed enemies (we say: our political foes!), one wins - sometimes! -- with everything in hand!!! hoping it'll become something to talk to m4xw0rest in person and find consensus on for a while - though then we've essentially had an all hands one solution here from inception all the back-up to discuss what we might find useful here today (in the US). we're also starting to build that consensus for future discussions too because what we've discussed now may take longer now because we'd want to make a new one to accommodate a number of countries getting more and different countries needing this or less at some point - the longer there continues to be open-battlegated issues that have been agreed on, as it does now, they may just stay until we decide whether someone else with that exact mindset is going to start trying and not agree on them after being so divided, which we are. - though of interest to a number of more experienced developers too, I'm actually rather excited that that last discussion seems headed that way though for now - perhaps on October 24th instead as an "early alpha" - it is my gut call at this moment, given all the parties' attitudes so far here but then - but then - so it's not like we could immediately push back either that point on either those particular events now with this particular proposal (I suspect in theory it just will fall at this point anyways though and it'll go live too!) - I do kind understand the fear the EU countries expressed before launch (that a compromise would have to take place somewhere where US/ EU would support some thing at least if anything that is different than a "stable foundation.") the way that those groups handled that conversation actually makes my eyes slowly light to the bright prospects now even if none are to be guaranteed that kind of solution ever seems attainable given the situation now so. - as.
